I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong," -Abraham Lincoln This quote is truthful in many ways since he stands by anyone who is right, but when they are wrong he parts with them. Telling the truth can be hard at times and doing the right thing can be even harder so it really depends on how you confront situations. You can tell that Lincoln is trustworthy in his actions and he only wants the best in people so he guides them through the way. Being a helpful and truthful person will certainly get you somewhere in life, while those others that don't obey the rules will suffer from the ramifications. Student Success Statement  "It's a great moment when someone has character to step up and  do the right thing at the right time." -Pam Knox  It's a good feeling when you see someone do the right thing for others, knowing that someone made a choice to help others without someone telling them too is even better. So importance is a great thing, I hope that everyone could help others that need it once you actually start helping others instead of yourself you'll feel a change around your behavior which is a good thing. I don't really have a personal experience about helping others or someone helping me but it was more that I saw someone help a person. There was a kid that broke his arm and one of the other kids had helped him up and took him to his mom, now you see. the kid could've have helped him if he didn't want too but he helped him up instead.
